November was a big month for Xbox One according to NPD and Microsoft. The latest NPD numbers was released and according to NPD and Aaron Greenberg the total console sales for the month exceeded 3 Million units.
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 was the best selling title this month, selling a majority on Xbox One. Halo 5: Guardians managed to cling on to the top 10, and Rise of the Tomb Raider failed to make the top ten with Multiplatform titles dominating overall sales, but it managed to remain in the top ten in the UK and on the Digital Xbox One store for the past month. Fallout 4 managed to take the second spot, and Star Wars Battlefront had a rather muted physical sales month in the US, with a majority of its sales coming from digital.
“Last month was our best November ever in the U.S. for Xbox One, setting new records for console sales, game sales and Xbox Live engagement. The most critically-acclaimed holiday lineup of exclusives in Xbox history helped drive 44 percent growth in Xbox Live hours over last November, and 72 percent growth in U.S. first-party retail game sales comparing sales from August through November in 2015 to the same period last year.”

Earlier this month Microsoft stated that their total Black Friday sales grew 22% over the previous Black Friday week. Best selling bundle for the month was the Gears of War Bundle.
