No Man’s Sky Players Abandon the Game on Steam

The recent release of one of the most anticipated games of 2016 has just seen it’s player base drop. No Man’s Sky was released this past month on PS4 and PC. The game has the biggest launch on Steam with over 212,000 initial downloads. Sadly the numbers have been dropping since the games launch on PC on August 12th.

No Man’s Sky now has around 47,ooo players on Steam. This is a huge drop in players, that is down 78%. Sadly this could lead to one of the biggest disappointments of 2016. So many players where so hyped to play this game when it was first announced years ago. I myself was one of those players that was apart of that hype.

Since August 18th Sean Murray has not given us any kind of update through his Twitter account. Usually everyday since launch players could expect something from him. It looks like the team is working night and day to get this game fixed for the players. A third patch will also be making an appearance this week for the PS4 version and PC.

Let us know how you feel about this game in the comment section below. Don’t forget this game might make it to the Xbox One console. This could just be a silly rumor that most Xbox One owners would love to have. One more thing, this drop in players has nothing to do with the PS4 version.
