It was announced via Twitter today that no crossplay would be included in the Xbox One version of the highly popular game Rocket League.
The popular indie game is heading to Xbox One but will not have the matchmaking featuring. The Official Rocket League Twitter stated that, “The Xbox platform doesn’t allow for crossplay matchmaking between other systems as a general practice across all titles.”
Though the Xbox One version of the game will not be featuring crossplay which differs from its other ports of the game. It will however have exclusive content as shown in its Xbox One announcement last night at the Game Awards. Exclusive vehicles from Xbox’s Halo and Gears of War will be featured in Rocket League’s Xbox One version.
Rocket League will be blasting its way to Xbox One in February 2016.
