With the announcement of the last two characters in season 1 of DLC for Jump Force, Grimmjow and Law from One Piece, many fans were left wondering if the game would get a second season? Well, Bandai Namco has heard your cries and has announced that the game will indeed be getting a season 2 of DLC in 2020. Now, this brings up an important discussion. It’s no secret that even though season one featured a lot of characters that anime fans wanted. However, it was a strange list that left a lot of people including me scratching their heads.

Season one of the DLC included characters like Madara Uchiha, Grimmjow, Law, ALL Might, Bakugo, Fat Buu, Biscuit and Hitsugaya. Not bad right? Well, not so fast while it does sound like a great list many fans were left disappointed. A lot of fans clamored for characters such as Mereum from Hunter x Hunter instead of Biscuit, along with many believed Madara should have been in the base roster from the beginning. Hitsugaya is cool but the general consensus was either Kenpaichi or Ywhach. Not to mention giving us Fat Buu instead of Kid Buu, Jiren, Beerus or even Broly.

Hopefully, in the next batch of characters, we all can get the characters we really want. Many fans have been clamoring for Hie from Yu Yu Hakusho, Tsuna from Hitman Reborn and with Demon Slayer being the hottest thing since sliced bread Tanjiro is a hot commodity, and don’t forget about the lack of female representation. Whatever the case, we should all applaud Bandai Namco and Spike for their continuation in supporting the game. What are your thoughts on the second season of DLC? Are you excited or have you stopped playing the game? Let us know in the comment section below. Jump Force is available for the Xbox One (and Xbox Gamepass) PS4 and PC.
