It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: Bandai Namco released a teaser trailer for their new Naruto game, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.

We all fell in love with the Ultimate Ninja Storm games, but deep down we knew it was time for a change. This game brings that change and so much more. From the trailer we know it’s going to be an open world kind of game. Hopefully we’ll get to visit some of the villages that are mentioned in the anime. The graphics are definitely different from what we are used to seeing, but compared to other Naruto games, Ultimate Ninja Storm’s art style is still better. The game will include online 4 man team battles. Up to 8 players can fight simultaneously. It sounds great, but with Bandai Namco’s history with servers I don’t see this game’s online battle system working properly at launch. Shinobi Striker’s battle system looks very smooth and dynamic. It’s about time we get to run on walls like real ninjas! From the looks of it, we will also be able to do summonings during battle. I’d love to be able to summon Kurama (Nine Tales) to kick butt mid-game.

While we don’t know how Bandai will be handling the story for this game, we should expect to see Boruto in it at some point. It will be nice to play a new story instead of following Naruto all over again. Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker has no set release date or price. The game will be releasing on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

Tell me us what you think about the game and what you would like to see in it in the comments section below.
