Longtime fans of the Blue Bomber will be excited to know that an all new cartoon series called Mega Man: Fully Charged will make its premiere at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Those of you who are lucky to attend the event will also be treated to a behind-the-scenes presentation. You’ll hear about the development of the series and even watch some newly revealed footage from the show.

The first season of Mega Man: Fully Charged will have 26 episodes. The show will mostly be based on the original series which made its debut on the Nintendo Entertainment System but expect to see several nods to Mega Man’s entire 30-year history.

The show will air on Cartoon Network in the United States and Family CHRGD in Canada. Mega Man: Fully Charged will be written with a younger audience in mind; mainly 5 to 11-year olds.
