Mass Effect: Andromeda has been delayed being announcedĀ via a conference presentation. EA chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, said during the presentation “We’ve got our BattlefieldĀ 5 first-person shooter game coming in the third quarter, and our third-party title that Respawn, our partner, built, it’s called TitanfallĀ 2”. He went on to say “We have our Mirror’s Edge: CatalystĀ runner game this first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect: Andromeda, which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter.”
EA’s financial fourth quarter starts in January and ends in March of 2017. Assuming development is on track, we should see Mass Effect: Andromeda launch within that time frame.
Mass Effect: Andromeda was first announced at last year’s E3 and the game is set in a new area of space and is separate from the story of Commander Shepard. Stay tuned for more updates and information on Mass Effect: Andromeda.
