I have repeatedly questioned Hollywood’s obsession with remakes, sequels and reboots. With this trailer for Jumanji 2, however, I think we might be seeing an exception.
I was not aware of the video game angle this film was taking. I love Tron and though it’s got flaws there is definite promise with the idea of being transported into a game against your will. Also, to all the gamers out there, see if you can spot the Uncharted poster.
While being a sequel to the classic Robin Williams film Jumanji, this film seems to be its own beast. I assume they will have to progress through each level of the game to free themselves, and if that’s the case then sign me up. I like all of these actors and I’m super down for a fun, jungle adventure film.
Jumanji 2: Welcome to the Jungle is out December 29th.
