First I just want to apologize for not covering this news when it was released on March 11th. This past week has not been what I was or anyone else expected it to be. For the most part, I’ve been hardly sleeping and watching the news or trying to enjoy a game. This is really the game we need right now in our life. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is having a crossover event with the upcoming Switch title.

This event will last until April 1st at 10:59 p.m. This should give players plenty of time to unlock any items they might need. Nintendo describes the event like this.
“Players can get an early taste of that relaxing island lifestyle with special in-game events themed after Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Participate in Nook Inc.’s Fishing Tourney to earn in-game rewards for your campsite, catch some crawly critters featured in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and craft stylish island-themed wall and flooring décor, among many fun themed activities.”
Remember that Animal Crossing: New Horizon will be coming out on March 20th. The same day as DOOM Eternal. Most players can start that pre-load now. Please stay calm, wash your hands and stop buying all the toilet paper. Most importantly, try to have some fun this week.
