The gaming community has had a recent string of companies closing and ending their games. From Lionhead Studios to Disney Interactive, no one is safe. For one company they have been given a second chance at releasing a game. Gigantic, a MOBA shooter from Motiga Games, is going to have a second chance with a larger release then initially thought.
Motiga left a heartfelt message to the fans, showing their appreciation:
“It has been a long road to this point, and we’ve been humbled by the amount of love and support that has come from the community throughout the journey. There were friends who wanted to raise money for the studio through donations and crowdfunding. I received daily messages of encouragement in my inbox from our fans; it’s been an incredibly grateful experience. I can’t give enough thanks to all of you for the love and support you’ve shown us.”
Perfect World Entertainment will be publishing Gigantic on every 64-bit Windows operating system. Talk about being brought back from the brink and making it big. Gigantic will run on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, as well as Xbox One.
Gigantic will be releasing on the Windows 10 app store and Xbox Live on the same day. Who’s happy that one game was finally saved? Let us know in the comment section below.
