Gears of War Ultimate Edition Will Be Bundled With Xbox One In Late 2015

Are you still on the fence about purchasing an Xbox One? If so, Microsoft has a way for you to pick up the console and get a new game with it at the same time. Rod Ferguson, one of the creators of the Gears of War franchise, made an appearance at a San Diego Comic-Con panel and announced that the bundle will be available in stores on August 25th which is the same day the game launches. The bundle includes a 500GB Xbox One system, a download code for Gears of War Ultimate Edition, an exclusive multiplayer Cole skin, a 14 day trial of Xbox Live Gold and access to the Gears of War multiplayer beta next year. The bundle will have an MSRP of $349 US. This deal will be available at Microsoft stores and “select retailers” and will be available while supplies last. Our guess is that this will be the budget SKU Microsoft will push during the holiday season.
