Forza Motorsport 6, by Turn 10 Studios, is the biggest, most technically advanced racing game they’ve ever built. This was the intro given to us at E3 2015. It’s amazing to think about how far the series has progressed in just about a year and a half on the Xbox One. From Forza 5’s laser scanned Drivatars riddled tracks to Horizon 2’s free roaming meet ups to this masterful incarnation.
Make no mistake, this is the best Forza yet. Turn 10 has definitely felt the heat from competing racing games and have cranked up the feature set to 11. Who says competition on and off the track isn’t healthy?
Forza Motorsport 6 boasts over 450 cars, 26 locations and adds the welcomed weather effects and night racing – they even modelled puddle physics, people…PUDDLE PHYSICS!
Keep in mind that they are delivering all this with the same attention to detail as in past iterations. This isn’t just something thrown together to lay claim to the broadest set of features in any racing game. No my friends, these have been added with the same attention to detail –the same love as previous offerings. If you are a fan of Forza and Turn 10, you know what that means… sleepless nights of close calls, tight turns, and good times. All rendering in glorious 1080p and 60fps.
Watching the E3 official video (shown above), several times I had to remind myself that what I was watching was the game, not a recording of real life drivers spliced in with game play. The visuals are that compelling.
The bar has raised by Forza 6 and I can’t wait to do some pull-ups.
