Actor Finn Wittrock, known for Masters of Sex and Unbroken, will be reprising his spot in the returning cast for the fifth season of American Horror Story. Wittrock played Dandy in Freak Show last year and has been guarded about the nature of his role in the upcoming series. In a recent interview with People magazine he said that “The fun thing about having this kind of rep company idea that every season you could do something totally different,”. This was before his casting announcement on Wednesday. Ryan Murphy co-creator of the series also hinted that Finn’s character may be involved in a love triangle between co-stars Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer.
The new season is set to première October 2015 and will be made up of 13 episodes. Principal filming commence late summer and will take place in Los Angeles, California.
