It’s official – the hit manga Dr. Stone by Riichiro Inagaki about the world turning to stone and a crazed kid who loves science is getting an anime adaptation. In our previous article regarding the big announcement, we speculated that this could be the case given the amount of success the manga series has had. Now that we know that the anime is in the works there is one big question remaining – when will fans be able to see it? We did get a release window; the Dr. Stone anime will be releasing during the Summer of 2019.

2019 will be jam-packed with anime shows from the return of My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Black Clover, The Promised Neverland, Fire Force and now Dr. Stone. There will probably be even more anime shows next year that haven’t been announced yet. This is all the information we have on the announcement as of now but we will be sure to update you as more information becomes available.
