Xbox One owners will have the opportunity to play DayZ next week according to an announcement made on the latest episode of Inside Xbox. DayZ will initially be released as a Game Preview title on August 29th. We assume the PS4 version of the game is still in development and will be released alongside the official launch of the Xbox One version.
DayZ is a mod standalone of Arma 2. Players must find food and water to sustain their characters while searching for useful tools and weapons in an attempt to stay alive in a land infested by zombies. You can choose to form alliances with other players and pool your resources or attempt to go solo and kill zombies and other humans alike.
