Dark Souls 3 Has A Release Date & Editions Announced

Dark Souls III was given a released date and will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 12, 2016.

Not only has the game been given a released date but so has the editions. US gamers can get either the Day One Edition or the Collector’s Edition. The Day One Edition comes with a Prima starter guide, the official soundtrack, O-Sleeve packaging, and of course the game. The Collector’s Edition includes an art book, cloth game map, 10-inch Red Knight Statue and collector’s box. The Day One Edition is around $60 while the Collector’s Edition is clocking in at around $130.

UK gamers who want Dark Souls III will have more choices to buy. The Apocalypse Edition needs to be pre-ordered from GAME UK and includes the game, official soundtrack, and comes in a metal case. The Collector’s Edition will be available at selected UK retailers and comes with the game, the Red Knight Statue, hardcover art book, metal game case, official soundtrack, cloth map, 3 iron-on patches and comes in an exclusive box. Amazon UK exclusive, The Prestige edition includes the game, a numbered 40cm “premium Lord of Cinder hand-painted polystone” resin figurine, the Red Knight figurine, hardcover artbook, metal case, soundtrack, 3 iron-on patches, cloth map, and a big display box. The UK prices have not been announced.

Hopefully, UK gamers will get prices for their editions very soon.
