In a surprise reveal Bandai Namco announced a new anime game that no one saw coming, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of Champions. Unlike our traditional anime games which are all fighting based, it seems this time around we’re diving into the sports genre. Captain Tsubasa is an anime that is based on sports Soccer and offers some pretty unique sequences in the gameplay department that fully brings the world to life and embodies the sports anime genre. In the short gameplay that we’ve seen you have, you’re over the top moves as well as the dramatic pauses during the cutscenes. Check out the gameplay below from IGN.
