Captain America: Civil War have ties to Thor: Ragnarok

In an interview for LA Times, Jaimie Alexander, the actress who plays Lady Sif in the MCU opened up a little about the upcoming 2017 Thor movie. Alexander emphasised that her character would play a pivotal role in the movie and also discussed possible set up in next year’s Captain America: Civil War that would lead into Thor’s subsequent solo movie.

“Marvel, I think on purpose, they don’t tell me certain things. Because they know I’ll be like, “So here’s what’s gonna happen.” But I do know I will be in Thor 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie,”

Captain America: Civil War was also mentioned:

Yeah, there’s a lot of great stuff they’ve peppered in through Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Avengers, Captain [America: Civil War] will have some stuff. There’s just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you’re really paying attention. They’re so good at interweaving everything throughout those films.”

Jamie Alexander has appeared as Lady Sif in both Seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as well as Thor and Thor: The Dark World. The latter film left off with Loki having taken control of Asgard by disguising himself as the king Odin. Sif’s involvement in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D introduced us to the Kree, and begun sowing seeds for the inclusion of the Inhumans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Thor: Ragnarok will release November 3rd, 2017. Captain America: Civil War will hit theatres next year on May 6th. For more movie, comic, TV and gaming news keep coming back to TiCGN.
