Bethesda may have inadvertently revealed Dishonored 2 on Twitch, just a day before its E3 press conference.
The team was testing their broadcast for their scheduled showing tomorrow, when a live microphone caught and streamed the whole discussion onto their Twitch page You get to hear a few minutes of the conversation between Arkane Studios’ Raph Colantonio and members of Bethesda live on Twitch. The conversation also mentioned Harvey Smith, who co-directed 2012’s Dishonored with Colantonio.
Now if you’re not aware Dishonored it’s a fantastic stealth action game set in the steam-punk city of Dunwall. Dishonored’s world combines mysticism, industrialism, and Victorian aesthetics. Dishonored is a first person stealth assassin game, where you get the freedom to choose who to eliminate and how, and believe me theirs many ways to get your kill.
Check the video out below and while the recording does not specifically say that the new game is Dishonored 2, a follow-up to the successful noir adventure game has been in the works for some time. The word “honored” is mentioned about 45 seconds into the clip, but in the context of “honored to be here” rather than “Dishonored 2.”
Stay tuned for more news tomorrow, when we can finally end all the speculations. Exciting times, indeed. are you ready for Dishonored 2?
