The low cost member of the increasingly popular Microsoft Surface family is about to ship with a 4G LTE option. This particular model will feature 64GB of storage along with 2GB of RAM and Intel’s Atom processor. The screen size remains the same at 10.8 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels.
AT&T will price these tablets at $599.99 without a contract or $499.99 with a two year contract. Customers will also have an option to purchase a Surface 3 for $399.99 if they also buy any Nokia Lumia smartphone through the Edge program. The Surface 3 was released back in May as a lower cost alternative to the Surface Pro line of tablets.
