The popular racing simulator Assetto Corsa has been available on PC since 2013 when it released in early access, but today the developers over at Kunos Simulazioni have announced that it will be coming to Xbox One next year.
The hardcore racer joins Forza Motorsport and Project Cars in an increasingly competitive sector on the platform. With a new Forza Motorsport game announced and a suspected launch date of Fall 2015, Assetto Corsa may be in for some tough competition going forward.
The game will feature 20+ track configurations and over 100 cars according to the press release, and will include a full career mode and up to 24 car races.
The PC version is currently sitting at a healthy 85 score on Metacritic so we could be looking forward to some strong competition for the crown as ‘best sim-racer on Xbox One’. All eyes are on E3 for further details.
