It’s been a long time since we’ve gotten a great Spider-Man game, but it looks like Sony and Insomniac Games are finally stepping up to the bat. They’ve announced at E3 2016 that they’re making a Spider-Man game exclusively for PlayStation 4.
Marvel says that is an all-new Spider-Man story/universe not connected to the comics or movies, featuring an experience Spidey who’s mastered fighting crime in the Big Apple. They also say that he’s balancing his personal life with his superhero life, so maybe there will be gameplay elements featuring life as Peter Parker.
However, it doesn’t seem like this game will be out anytime soon though as there was no release date with “In development” being in the date’s place.
