Shovel Knight may be one of the most recognized Indie characters of this generation. From the humble beginnings as a Kickstarter project to the games massive success of selling over 2 million copies since its launch in 2014. It is safe to say that many people have been interested in what the developers Yacht Club Games have been up to for the past little while. It appears the developers have slowly been working on a sequel in partnership with Nitrome. Today, we got a first look at Shovel Knight Dig, the studios latest project which see’s Shovel Knight take the fight underground. In this brief trailer, we get a glimpse of Shovel Knight Dig, and it certainly looks like fans will be ecstatic. From the retro art style to the great soundtrack, if you love platformers it looks like Shovel Knight Dig might be the next big one for you. There is currently no release window or date at this time. However, we will be watching this game very closely in the upcoming months.
