The first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 has been released. This movie is a follow up to the hit DC movie Wonder Woman, the first movie grossed $821 million worldwide. Look for the second move in theaters on June 5th, 2020.
This is the first of many trailers that will show off Gal Gadot kicking some but and riding the lighting. Wonder Woman 1984 follows our hero as she traverses the world of the 1980s. Kristen Wiig shows up as Barbara Ann Minerva / Cheetah, the main villain of the movie. The movie also includes Pedro Pascal as Max Lord. You may also notice that Pedro Pascal is in the hit Disney+ show The Mandalorian. Which we review every week, you can see the review for the most recent episode here.
You may have noticed a character that shouldn’t be in this timeline. If you watched the first movie you may have noticed that Steve Trevor supposedly died in that film. Chris Pine reprises his role as the character, in the trailer he seems a little lost in the world of 1984. Look for Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn to be the first DC film to arrive next year. That movie hits theaters on February 7th, 2020.
