Watch Dogs 2 Confirmed for End of 2017 by Ubisoft

Ubisoft announced that the upcoming Watch Dogs sequel will drop before Fiscal year end 2017 (March 2017). This comes after the new protagonist leaked on Twitter last week. Watch Dogs launched to much anticipation in 2014, but ended up being a critical flop for Ubisoft after several issues cropped up, including the fact that gamers found the main protagonist as bland as used dishwater.

Beyond that, Ubisoft also announced that there is another AAA title that will drop in the same timeframe, but haven’t announced anything about it. No leaks have appeared to suggest what this game would be, but with E3 around the corner, we might just see this mythical creature.

Ubisoft has had a pretty spectacular year thus far, with The Division breaking sales records for a new IP and Ubisoft announcing that the game has 9.5 Million active daily users, its hard to deny the game is a smash hit. Watch Dogs 2 and this unannounced title might just be what the company needs to take it to the next level. Ubisoft also released the trailer for the upcoming Assassins Creed movie for release later this year.
