The Good Life is the upcoming game from Japanese developer Hidetaka Suehiro who you may better know as SWERY. Who is the creator of the amazing horror game Deadly Premonition  In his latest game The Good Life, is a daily life simulator with the developers own twist on the genre. Think relaxing vibes almost like Stardew Valley, but with more twists and complicated character. The game is highly anticipated by many fans, for its unique style, art design, and this is the first game by Swery since 2014’s D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die. Today we learned that fans will have to wait just a little bit longer to play the upcoming game. As announced on The Good Life’s official Kickstarter, the game will be officially delayed until Spring 2020. In the Kickstarter post SWERY highlighted the key reason that they decided to push the game to 2020.
It’s a very important, heavy decision, but we made it believing that it’s the happiest decision for all the people who are going to eventually play it. Therefore, we humbly ask that you wait a little bit longer for The Good Life to reach your hands.
Hopefully, many fans will understand that the developers simply want to give the backers and potential buyers of the game a better day one experience. In a time where games are often rushed out and then patched later, it is great to see a developer take the time they need. Feedback from backers has been majorly positive, which means bring on The Good Life in 2020.
