Nintendo Direct’s are always an exciting time for Nintendo fans because you are never quite sure exactly what you could possibly see. To kick off today’s direct was an absolute pleasant surprise for Mario fans, as Super Mario Maker 2 has been revealed for Nintendo Switch. The follow up to one of the most unique Mario titles in the Wii-U’s catalog, Super Mario Maker 2 looks to build on the solid base of the first game. While also adding new features, tools, and items for players to truly bring their own Mario levels to life! The game is slated to release in June and will be a must own summer game on the Nintendo Switch. Check out the trailer!
In this new game, a sequel to the original Wii U™ game, players can create the Super Mario courses of their dreams, with access to even more tools, items and features, including the new ability to create slopes for the first time. Super Mario Maker 2 launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch this June.
