Super Mario Maker 2 was officially announced for Nintendo Switch during Nintendo’s February direct. When it was initially revealed there was a release window of Summer 2019 attached to the trailer. Today, Nintendo announced on Twitter the official release date for the upcoming sequel to the very well received original which debuted on the Wii-U. Super Mario Maker 2 will be launching on June 28th, 2019 and will be available physically and via the Nintendo E-Shop.
