EA recently announced its first paid DLC Star Wars: Battlefront Outer Rim DLC.
Players will be able to dish it out at the Sullust smelting factory or industrial pipes and platforms. Better yet, players can battle within the infamous Jabba the Hut palace on Tatooine, either inside the throne room (probably without enslaved Princess Leia) and sail barge garage.
Two new heroes will be available in during the DLC’s release. Greedo and Nien Nunb will make their debut in Battlefront.
In case those names aren’t familiar, Greedo is the alien villain Han Solo shot under the table in Mos Eisley cantina in Episode IV. Nien Nunb is the flabby-cheeked alien who co-piloted the Millennium Flacon along side Lando in Return of the Jedi.
Last week (February 25) the two heroes were teased in a piece of promo artwork for the Outer Rim DLC.
In addition, a new mode will be released with the DLC. The new Extraction mode involves Rebel forces extracting a valuable ship of resources to their ship before time runs out. Naturally, the Empire has arrived to stop them from reaching the extraction point.
New weapons and equipment will also be introduced in Outer Rim. The new Relby V-10 rifle and the DT-12 blaster pistol and collect and equip the Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim Star Cards.
The Outer Rim DLC will likely be released at the end of the month or early April.
