Skyblivion Receives Brand New Update

Most people would not recognize Skyrim today. On the various consoles you have the creation club and on PC there is a vast array of modding options to keep the 7-year-old game fresh and exciting. For PC there have been some amazing mods that take the game put out everything till all that left is the base a rebuild it from the ground up. One of these mammoth projects is Skyblivion. In the about section on the official website, it states that “Skyblivion is a completely volunteer-based TES Renewal. They aim to bring The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion to a new generation of gamers and long-time fans of the series and game.” Skyblivion is an Elder Scrolls renewal to completely remake original Oblivion in Skyrim and Skyrim SE on PC.

A new trailer was launched, and it lets us look at just how far along they are in rebuilding everything. Skyblivion – Environment update teaser shows just a taste of new environmental changes that will be in the big December update and the final 100% free PC mod.

Skyblivion is not the first mod to take everything to toss it out and remake something new although it is one of the newest entries. One of the best mods and one of my favorites is Enderal it’s a massive tough overhaul that changes everything you know about the game. There is also Nerhrim, Wyrmstooth, The Forgotten City, and Beyond Skyrim just to name a few of the more well-known and bigger mods. There are so many mods out there but few complete overhauls and completely different experiences. There are tons of quality of life mods, plenty of hair, body and lighting changes. To list just the categories here would be extensive.

So, if you’re interested in the mod to go ahead and check out the website and stay tuned for the big December update this one to keep your eyes on https://www.skyblivion.com/
