September will be a damn impressive month for PlayStation Plus; Destiny 2 available today

How will you spend your final weeks of summer? Barbecues and pool parties? Maybe squeeze in one last summer vacation with the family? Or perhaps you will settle down with what is one of the most impressive lineups we have ever seen on PlayStation Plus. Let’s get right to the September lineup, shall we?

PS4 Games

Destiny 2 – You can play this right now! This will give everyone a chance to check out the new Gambit mode when it goes live on September 1st at 10 a.m. Pacific time. This is one Hell of a freebie and I hope you all enjoy it.

God of War III Remaastered – If the new God of War game that shipped earlier this year marked your first experience with Kratos then now is the perfect time to check out one of his earlier adventures.

PS3 Games

Another World 20th Anniversary Edition – Wow, I remember playing this on my SNES back in the day. The graphics have obviously aged but you should check out what was considered revolutionary back then. This game offers the PS4 and Vita versions as well thanks to cross-buy.

QUBE Director’s Cut – After all of the action from the PS4 games this month you may want to relax with some brain teasers. This title is a puzzle game played through a first person perspective. You must find your way to the exit at every level by manipulating blocks. This is another cross-buy title meaning you will get the PS4 version as well.

Vita Games

Sparkle 2 – This is a match-3 puzzler which is quite similar to Zuma. You shoot colored marbles and every time you match 3 of a similar color they vanish. This is a cross-buy title so you’ll get to enjoy the PS4 & PS3 versions of the game as well.

Foul Play – A side-scrolling beat-em-up along the lines of old school classics like TMNT: Turtles in Time or Final Fight. This is yet another cross-play title meaning the PS4 version will be included.

What do you think of next month’s PlayStation Plus lineup? We’d love to know.
