Into every console generation a collection of treasured Sega games will be released and this one is no exception. Sega Genesis Classics will be released for the PS4, Xbox One and Steam on May 29th. That’s >em>Sega Mega Drive Classics for those of you on the other side of the puddle. The collection will contain over 50 Sega games from the 16-bit era and will be available digitally for all three platforms and the consoles will have a physical media option.
Unlike some previous Sega game collections, this one will have some modern conveniences baked into it. New features include a Rewind function, save states, online multiplayer and a mirror mode.
Sega is offering a two-sided poster featuring Golden Axe and Streets of Rage on the other. Check out the trailer below:
