Season two in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be launching across all platforms tomorrow. You may have already seen the news on whos going to be available to play as. Just rewatch the announcement trailer, I have seen it a few times today.
The game will be getting some new mods and maps starting tomorrow. Players will be able to jump into Gunfight tournaments and Call of Duty League Ruleset Playlist. Along with these two new modes comes maps. Lots of maps, one you may recognize from a past game. Rust will be making its debut to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as this fast-paced small map will bring some welcomed chaos to the game. Some of the other maps won’t be available until mid-season. Players may think each season doesn’t follow a story, here is the story behind season two.
“Al-Qatala agents have stolen a Soviet nuclear warhead and smuggled it into the city of Verdansk. Combined with previously obtained chemical gas, Al-Qatala is determined to cut off Verdansk from the rest of the world. On the brink of a global catastrophe, Captain Price sends in Ghost to track down the location of the warhead and lead key Operators before it’s too late. “
Players will have to purchase the battle pass to be able to get operators like Ghost on the first day. There will be free items available to unlock in the battle pass as well.
