In the final weekend of 2019, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker took the top spot. The final numbers show that the movie dropped down %59 from last weekend. $71 million is still nothing to be ashamed of. Jumanji: The Next Level gained viewers this weekend, the movie grossed an estimated $35 million. It grossed $26 million last weekend.
This past weekend the movies Little Women and Spies in Disguise were released. Little Women grossed $16.7 million coming in third for the weekend. Spies in Disguise failed to do better as it grossed $13.2 million. That is just another in a string of failed movies for Will Smith. Gemini Man failed to even gross $50 million domestically, it may be time for that actor to rethink his roles.

The first movie to be released in 2020 is one of those movies you don’t really need to watch. The Grudge will be coming out this weekend, someone thought we needed a remake/reboot of this horror movie. Personally I think it’s a huge waste of time, spend your weekend doing something else. The following weekend actually has some movies that should be enjoyed in a theater. I wanted to thank Jason for taking up the reigns on different weekends when I was unable to write this article. I can proudly say this has been the most consistent article on this site for the past three years.
