Resident Evil 2 Remake is quickly setting the gold standard in terms of both in quality and delivering what the fans want in terms of a remake. Ever since it was unveiled back at E3 2018, there has been non-stop buzzing about this remake. Now, thanks to Gamescom, we have even more to drool over thanks to new screenshots and a new terrifying gameplay demo.

The more we see of the game the more astounding the amount of work and love that went into this project is more apparent. The attention to detail, and shifting the game to Resident Evil 7’s engine was definitely a smart choice by Capcom. The sheer amount of detail from every blood drip, to the dark and tense atmosphere this demo shows. Along with this new gameplay we also got some brand new screenshots highlighting the gorgeous details this game holds, this may be one of the best looking games of 2019 at this rate.
Without a doubt Resident Evil 2 Remake might just become my most anticipated game of 2019. Which with the quality of titles dropping just in the first half of 2019, (Kingdom of Hearts, Metro Exodus, Anthem) that is really saying something.
