Some of the older Sega fans out there will fondly remember a series that humbly began on the Sega Saturn known as Panzer Dragoon. These shooters would put your character on the back of an armored dragon to take on the forces of darkness. Unfortunately, the series has been dormant for quite a while but it looks like two of these games will be introduced to a new generation of gamers sometime next year. Sega and Forever Entertainment have finally struck a deal to remake Panzer Dragoon and Panzer Dragoon II Zwei. No word was given about which platforms would get these games.

Panzer Dragoon: Remake is a refreshed version of Panzer Dragoon. The original version of the game had its premiere on the Sega Saturn console in 1995 and was well received by both players and critics. The entire Panzer Dragoon series has been repeatedly remade and released on many platforms. The last re-launch took place in April 2018 on Xbox One, where players can play Panzer Dragoon Orta with backward compatibility.
The new version of the game will be characterized by completely new graphics compatible with today’s standards and several modifications of the game, making it more attractive to modern players, while remaining faithful to the original in terms of story. The first materials from the game will be presented in the upcoming months!
It has been over sixteen years since a new game in this series has been released. While I would also have liked a remake of Orta I am still very excited to see these two games come back to current systems. We will of course bring you more details as soon as they are announced.
