The Red Dead Online beta was announced back in September, as the online mode for Red Dead Redemption 2 would launch separately from the base game. Today, Rockstar Games revealed the Red Dead Online beta times, with players who picked up the Ultimate Edition getting first access. The servers will first open up on November 27th at 8:30 a.m. EST. You can download Red Dead Online from the main menu of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Here’s the Red Dead Online Beta times:Â
- Tuesday, November 27th: All Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition owners. Please note, players who purchased the physical Ultimate Edition must redeem the Ultimate Edition code in the packaging to be eligible.
- Wednesday, November 28th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th according to our data.
- Thursday, November 29th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between October 26th to October 29th according to our data.
- Friday, November 30th: All players who own Red Dead Redemption 2.
The gameplay is stated to be similar to the online mode for the original Red Dead Redemption. You’ll be able to play by yourself or form a posse with up to seven players.
