Sony began today’s PlayStation Meeting by officially announcing the PS4 Slim along with a release date and price. The console will be in stores on September 15th and comes with an MSRP of $299.
The PS4 Slim is exactly what it sounds like – A smaller and more efficient PlayStation 4 console bundled with a DualShock 4 controller. There are no upgrades to the PS4 in the Slim but there is also a PlayStation 4 Pro system coming. That console will provide HDR and 4K visuals.
