PS4 Games Finally Hit PS Now

Sony had announced earlier this year that PlayStation 4 games would start appearing on their Netflix-like service, PlayStation Now. It’s been a while but you can finally play several PS4 games using the service on your PS4 console or PC. Up until this point, PS Now has been composed of mostly PlayStation 3 games such as Uncharted 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4. Sony’s essentially been using it as their version of backwards compatibility for the PlayStation 4.

Twenty PS4 titles were added, those games include:

  • Akiba’s Beat
  • Broken Age
  • Castlestorm Definitive Edition
  • Darksiders II Deathfinitive Edition
  • Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition
  • Evolve
  • Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky
  • F1 2015
  • God of War 3 Remastered
  • Grim Fandango Remastered
  • Helldivers
  • Killzone Shadow Fall
  • MX vs ATV Supercross Encore
  • Nidhogg
  • Resogun
  • Saints Row IV: Re-Elected
  • Super Mega Baseball
  • Tropico 5
  • Ultra Street Fighter IV
  • WWE 2K16

A pretty solid start to the service; Resogun and God of War III being the stand-out inclusions, in my opinion. Sony promises that more PS4 games will be added to the service over time, so keep a look out for any future updates.

To celebrate the addition of PS4 games, Sony is offering a couple of discount prices. You can buy a full year of PlayStation Now for $100 or get a 1 month subscription for $10. Definitely a good deal over the normal prices for PS Now.

It’s important to note that Sony will soon be cutting PlayStation Now from the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV and several smart televisions. Sony claims they are doing this to focus on PS4/PC for the service.
