Big news, Pokémon fans! Nintendo has announced that a new Pokémon Nintendo Direct airs on February 27th, 2019. We’ve known for some time that a “core Pokémon RPG” was coming sometime this year and it looks like this’ll be our first look. It also wouldn’t be surprising to see updates to Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee.
The Pokémon Nintendo Direct was announced via Twitter:
Tune in on 2/27 at 6am PT for roughly 7 minutes of new information in a livestreamed #Pokemon Direct presentation!https://t.co/d1Xx3bDbhq pic.twitter.com/BEwvJi8BFi

Now, roughly seven minutes is not a long time, even by the standards of Nintendo Direct presentations. With that said, this is focused on just Pokémon, so seven minutes should be more than enough to cover the announcement. I wouldn’t expect too much to be revealed however, it seems a guarantee that this Pokémon Direct will feature the upcoming big RPG.
Pokémon GO is still going steady, while last year’s release of Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee did really well, so it’ll be interesting to see just what is revealed.
When the Pokémon Nintendo Direct airs on February 27th, 2019, you can watch it right here. We’ll be sure to keep you informed of any announcements made.
