Starting today Pokemon Go players will find something special when they boot up the game. The third generation of Pokemon have slowly been released since October. This event will give players a chance to catch some more.

As you can see from the tweet above, twenty new Water and Ice Pokemon will be available during the event. Players will have the chance each day to collect a single use incubator when they check out their first PokeStop.
Players will be able to purchase special Holiday themed boxes that include different items for a lower cost. The holiday themed version of Pikachu will also be available for players to collect. The event ends on January 4th. This will give players plenty of time to go out and collect those new Pokemon.
