It’s nearing the end of the July which means one thing – the Playstation Plus August line-up reveal. Sony has announced that Playstation Plus subscribers will get their hands on not one, but two huge franchises to download for free next month.
In one of the better months for Playstation 4 subscribers to the service, they will have access to the over-the-top action-adventure gargantuan that is Just Cause 3 and the swashbuckling Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry, as well as Downwell. Playstation 3 subscribers can download Super Motherload and Snakeball, whilst Vita owners have the choice of Downwell and Level 22.
Sony has also announced the launch of their Playstation Plus Summer Movies event which offers 6 weeks of 99 cent rental deals on this summer’s hottest blockbusters. The event begins with The Lego Batman Movie but weekly instalments will see Logan, Power Rangers, Kong Skull Island, Boss Baby, and Ghost in the Shell all available for a fraction of their usual rental price.
