Bandai Namco has released a brand new trailer for One Piece: World Seeker during their Gamescom press conference. The new trailer shows off more footage from the story mode along with some new characters. In the trailer you will see some familiar faces like Rob Lucci, Crocodile and the Marines. Let’s take a look at the trailer below:
The game will take place around “Jail Island” which is located in the New World. The creator of the series, Eiichiro Oda, has been heavily involved with the game and wrote an original story that is said to tell “the truth of a tragic event”. We have no idea what that means exactly and can only wait for further details.
One Piece: World Seeker will release for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC sometime this year.
If you haven’t heard of One Piece: World Seeker before, here is a brief synopsis from Bandai Namco: “Set sail in an all-new ONE PIECE adventure in ONE PIECE: World Seeker! Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are back in a new story that puts players’ into Luffy’s point of view, as he battles and explores an expansive and seamless world. Open landscapes provide many paths for players to experience Luffy’s gum-gum abilities and swing into action. “
