More news regarding the next iteration in the One Piece movie franchise, One Piece Stampede has released. The film has received its first full-length trailer. In this trailer, we get to see just where the Straw Hat Pirates will end up and what trouble Luffy and the crew will get into.
The film will center around the festival called the Pirates Expo, that will feature pirates from all over the sea. What’s even more interesting is all of the pirates that we will be seeing. Of course we have our usual crews The Straw Hat pirates, Black Beard, Crocodile, Rob Lucci and more. The real mystery is the legendary Gol D. Roger and his crew. Yes Roger is dead but Oda has hinted that Roger’s treasure will finally be unveiled. Although I’m sure this is not the glory treasure which is One Piece, but maybe something smaller.
Whatever this so-called treasure of Gol D. Roger may be, it sure has me excited to find out what it is. For now, we will just have to wait until the film releases. Unfortunately, at this time there is no word on if the film will make its way to the West, but we will update you as soon as more information is released. One Piece Stampede will debut in Japan on August 9th.
