NHL 16 is Available on EA Access

Subscribers to the EA Access will notice a new game has been added to the Vault. NHL 16 is now available to all Hockey fans that have a subscription to Access. The last game to hit the Vault was the original Plants vs Zombies for the Xbox 360. The price to subscribe to EA Access is still $4.99 a month, or $29.99 for 12 months.

Players can still check out newer games like UFC2, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Unravel, and Need for Speed with a limited trial. The trials last for 10 hours of playtime, everything earned in the trials will be bought over to the actual games when purchased. All achievements earned will also stay on that players Gamerscore.

A full list of the games available in the Vault are below:

  • Battlefield 4
  • Battlefield Hardline
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • EA Sports UFC
  • FIFA 14
  • FIFA 15
  • Madden NFL 15
  • Madden NFL 25
  • Madden NFL 16
  • NBA Live 15
  • Need for Speed: Rivals
  • NHL 15
  • NHL 16
  • Peggle 2
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
  • Titanfall

If this list of games doesn’t justify spending only $29.99 a year compared to over $1000 spent on the new versions of these games. The only problem with EA Access is that EA doesn’t have a set time line when games will make it to the Vault. Currently EA is still keeping this program on the Xbox One only. A Gold Xbox Live is only needed to play the multiplayer is these games, it is not needed to sign up for EA Access.
