First Person Platformer DeadCore Is Now Available

Originally released on the PC back in 2014, DeadCore is a cult classic that blends the First Person perspective and platforming together. DeadCore seems like it was an inspiration for Titanfall 2’s very popular campaign; as it’s full of fast paced and precise, mid-air movement. It took a while, but the game is finally out on consoles. The game’s developers, Grip Digital, have released a launch trailer to wet your appetites.

Grip Digital describes DeadCore as “the ultimate parkour game…fast, deadly and incredible to look at”, DeadCore is a gritty first person platformer blending exploration, speedrunning and puzzles. After falling endlessly through powerful magnetic storms, players will find themselves in a desolate world with no memory, surrounded by void. As they explore this unforgiving futuristic environment, they’ll discover a gigantic Tower at the centre of the dense fog. Equipped with a ‘SwitchGun’, they must make their way to the top of the Tower, deciphering cryptic messages as they search for answers along the way.”

The game looks as crazy as it sounds, as you can see in the trailer below. DeadCore is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $7.99. TICGN’s review of the game will be coming soon.
