The Black Clover anime was originally set to have 51 episodes in the first season. Despite the many complaints made about the series such as main protagonist Asta’s voice as well as the constant similarities to other Shonen series (ex: Naruto), the first season of Black Clover has proven itself to be a success.
In fact, the series has been successful enough that a second season is on the way. The new season will begin on Crunchyroll this October and a new trailer has been released that you can check out below. I also urge those who may not have been too keen on the series to give it another chance. The series has come into its own and I found it to be very enjoyable.
