Late last year Microsoft announced the acquisition of inXile Entertainment and now we have a glimpse of the studio’s next game, Wasteland 3. You might want to grab your coat because the next adventure will take place in the state of Colorado. Microsoft released a gameplay trailer during their E3 2019 press conference and you can check it out for yourself below:
Traversing through a snowy landscape is a bit unusual for the Wasteland franchise but a welcome change of pace. A rather inebriated miner welcomes you to the area but unfortunately, we do not yet know if there are any new gameplay mechanics at work. From what we can see in the trailer the strategic combat mechanics from earlier Wasteland has been retained. We certainly hope that the character customization and gameplay choices have carried over as well.
The Inner Circle is currently at E3 and we will work hard to bring you more details about Wasteland 3 and all of the other games from Xbox Game Studios when they become available.
