It seems that Bandai Namco has opened the floodgates of information on Jump Force during their Tokyo Game Show presentation. Not only did we get two character announcements with Yusuke and Toguro from YuYu Hakusho, we also received tons of information regarding pre-order bonuses, screenshots and even a new trailer reveal. Let’s begin by checking out the TGS trailer showing off Yusuke, Toguro and the previously announced characters from Hunter x Hunter, Killua and Kurapika.
Bandai Namco also surprised us with some details regarding the story mode. Akira Toriyama – the creator of the Dragon Ball franchise – has created four original characters for the game including Galena, Kane Glover and the Navigator. Check out the introduction trailer below.
If that’s not enough news for you, we have plenty more. The game will feature nine DLC characters after launch. Players who pre-order Jump Force will receive the following bonuses: 3 exclusive costumes along with 1 vehicle. There will also be a $260 collector’s edition for the game. Players who purchase this edition will receive a steel book, three art boards, and an exclusive diorama statue of Goku, Luffy and Naruto.
A closed beta was also announced that players can sign up for here. Jump Force will release in February 2019 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
