Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop Has Found it’s Spike

While fans of the Cowboy Bebop series anxiously await the live-action adaptation from Netflix, many have worried to who would they actually choose to play Spike-the main character of the series. Netflix has announced that it will be casting John Cho as Spike. Who is John Cho? You’ve probably seen him in movies such as Harold & Kumar, Star Trek, The Exorcist tv series and his most recent film Searching.

Along with John Netflix has brought on a sleuth of other actors. Mustafa Shakir will be playing as Jet, Daniella Pineda will star as Faye, and Alex Hassell will play as Vicious-Spike’s best friend. As of now, there is no word on an official release for the series, we will keep you updated as more information is released.

To learn a little bit more about the Cowboy Bebop live action adaptation, Netflix describes the series as “Based on the worldwide phenomenon from Sunrise, Cowboy Bebop is the jazz-inspired, genre-bending story of Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine and Radical Ed: a rag-tag crew of bounty hunters on the run from their pasts as they hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals. They’ll even save the world…for the right price.”

How do you feel about the casting? Let us know in the comment section below, and also tell us if you’re excited for the adaptation from Netflix.
